WATCH AND LEARN - How to Use a Video Camera Watch
Please see below our top tips on how to use and wear your video camera watch. Should you have any questions, please contact your Programme Coordinator or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 1: You will need to place your SD card into the video camera, the camera won’t turn on otherwise.
Step 2: You will see in your instructions that you have 3 buttons, K1,K2, K3, Hold K1 for 3 seconds, the watch will vibrate and a pink light will show up on the side of the camera.
Step 3: The pink light means you’re in Standby mode, once you’re ready to record, press K1 and the camera will vibrate 3 times and flash red. Once the vibrations have finished, this means you’re recording.
Step 4: Once you’ve completed your video shop, simply press K1 and it will return to Pink Standby mode.
Step 5: Your shop is complete, the camera will turn off after 5 minutes in standby mode.
- The front of the camera watch must be facing the staff member or your viewpoint for the majority of your shop. We understand you may need to move your arm/wrist but, please remember to go back to the natural position.
- The camera will not tilt. Once you’ve chosen your arm position, you will need to follow this through for the whole shop. If you do tilt, the video will need to be edited before upload.
- The video will record in 10-minute timeframes. If your shop goes on for longer than the said time, you will need to merge the video together.
